New Years - and it's back to the bike

New Year's day in Southern California means a mass "100 mile" ride starting in Long Beach, heading down the coast through Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point (aren't these all places you are supposed to be surfing), then inland and finally back to Long Beach.
The ride isn't organized by anyone - riders just show up at 8:00 in Long Beach and head south. Riders join in and drop out all along the way. At it's maximum there are several hundred riders cruzing along the coast.
Next year if you are looking for a great way to start the new year...
Have a great...and fast...New Year
